Singer Gazelle Artwork.jpg

Since the Mid 1960s I have been an avid fan of British Classic Cars. They still have such a massive pull in terms of their

varied design, which I can only compare to today's "Clone cars". The car pictured here is a Singer Gazelle. This is one of the cars that I owned in the 1960s and who could not admire styling like this.

I have always wanted to own a Classic - especially a Rover 3.5 P5B Coupe. The trouble is that , despite night school courses, I am just hopeless with the mechanics. I could never afford to pay for all the work that needs doing to keep a Classic on the road. So I had to admire them from afar at Classic Car Shows. I put my spare time into other hobbies - photography and later digital editing and design.

In more recent years I began to bring everything together to enhance photographs of cars by replacing the backgrounds and altering the lighting etc to create a more attractive location setting for the cars I saw at Car Shows. I then added to that a range of techniques for presenting these images not only as photographic prints, but also as painted or pencil drawing style images.
